After a long successful career in marketing in the telecommunications and IT industry, Lutz recently started his own consulting practice, Marketing ROI, and partnered with Accelent to work with other like-minded professionals and expand globally. He shares the same vision that digital marketing and business transformation are challenging marketing leaders in every industry. Proven approaches are questioned while data-driven marketing and real-time decision-making are becoming more important. He believes a new mindset, methodologies, and advanced data skills are needed for marketing to better drive business value.

Lutz has more than 28 years in international B2B Marketing and channel experience in Start-Ups as well as Corporations. He is an expert in ROI and other data-driven approaches to clarify the value of marketing in support of business results. He helps companies to generate ROI and incremental revenue by setting the right strategy, aligning the organization, selecting the right technoogy and executing online and offline marketing programs. In addition to strategic positioning and planning, he supports companies to avoid the pitfalls in deployment in both direct and indirect Go-To-Market environments. Along with driving measurable value, he builds alignment between Sales, Marketing, and IT to optimize the customer experience and improve results.
Prior to consulting, Lutz worked in the IT and Telecommunications industry since 1996 for both channel partners and vendors, being a senior leader for local and international teams at Avaya (Director of EMEA Channel Marketing and Leader of their Business Partner Program), Nortel (Head of Marketing EMEA & Asia) and Juniper Networks (Senior Director Enterprise, Commercial & Partner Marketing – EMEA).
Lutz is a public speaker at events and guest lecturer at the DHBW University in Mannheim as well as SRH Hochschule in Berlin. He studied Business Administration at the European Business School (EBS) in Wiesbaden, London and Paris.
